After Graduation I accepted a job at KBTX as an IT Engineer where I have brought our various computer systems up to corporate security standards, created a backup routine for critical On-Air systems, and improved overall efficiency, performance, and security of various systems and workflows throughout our departments (primarily News). Additionally, I helped maintain and improve both KBTX (where our News and Programming originates from) and our remote Transmitter site that is used to broadcast KBTX (ATSC 1.0), NBTX (ATSC 1.0), KNXG (ATSC 3.0), and KLNL (Local News Live) programming 24/7/365.

The conclusion of this internship was a research paper (linked below) I wrote to discuss and compare the status and statistics regarding Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-Of-Stake (PoS) cryptocurrencies, and their effects on the environment.
